September has been really busy, which is fantastic, this year is flying by. The design room doesn’t seem quite as chocka as the rest of the firm, and I am enjoying the commissions being brought in. We are wondering when our next owl window will be asked for, we do at least one of some sort as the dark nights close in…
Helen is proving to be far too helpful in the double glazing department and the design room now have to share her. I am sure she is a great help for the busy lads at the Lime Kiln site, as long as she doesn’t abandon us for good. We have started to put in a few samples at that site that can be seen from the main road, we hope they are looking good for the queuing cars. The design department and offices are still in Northwood so that’s the place to come as usual for all enquiries.
There has been quite a lot of personal bad news at the firm lately and we are all supporting each other as best we can, and thank you for all the kind comments from our regular customers.

The double glazing department finally has a new super cutting bench, to go with ‘The Line’, the massive machine they had earlier in the year. They are producing thousands of very high quality units, with all the energy rated know how needed, including warm edge spacer, argon gas and Planitherm glass where required. The team are so busy but are getting back to the quick production we are known for.
And we are pleased to say that Brendon is back from his month in Australia, he decided we are too wonderful to leave for good!
The design department is busy too, with lots of fantastic commissions coming in, including three lovely leaded lights with a simple grass design, a sunburst circle window, and some art deco reproductions. Photos will be added to the gallery when they are completed.
We have sold a few old vintage leaded lights we have had in for a while this week, but we still have plenty left, including some simple original art deco toplights. Please call in any time to have a look if you love old period windows, or to commission a new leaded light using some of our stock of beautiful vintage glass.
